One of River and Rock Adventures most intense and challenging runs, the North Fork of the American rafting trip provides experienced class IV paddlers with an uninterupted 5 miles of technical whitewater. The free-flowing North Fork of the American river runs only in the spring and early summer until the snowmelt runs out. Those fortunate enough to run this river in this time frame will be treated to the beautiful narrow canyon with it's lush wildflowers, waterfall hikes, and unforgettable whitewater.

Class IV drops like Chamberlain Falls and Bogus Thunder make this trip one that only experienced paddlers should attempt. Or run the North Fork of the American River as the second day of a two day trip including the South Fork of the American River. Book early to get an opportunity to take a rafting trip down this pristine river.
